Depth of field

Depth of field is how far away the picture is being taken and far back can you go in the distance.
I think this is a good picture for showing the depth of field because the main picture is the man and car but also PEROU decided to view the sky and scenery to the far left.

Lighting

Lighting is the main part of photography without lighting you could not take photography which means lighting on a photograph is where they focused light and where else.
I think this image is a good choice because the face is lit up and the background has also been lighten up.

Focal Point

Focal point is where the camera is pointing in other words the point of interest who ever is taking the picture.
I think this is a good picture to describe it since it doesn't have anything in but a boy so it is simple and it is only focused on a single thing.

Composition

Composition is how everything is placed and where the picture is taken from.
The reason why I picked this picture is because the picture is focused threw his hands and his head is placed in the gap and I feel this is good composition.

First analysis

Factual: A portrait picture which was taken by a photographer named PEROU who is the photographer from Dirty Sexy Things.

Context: This piece is from a section of his website on portraits.

Technical: I think he has taken this picture using a digital camera also I think the lighting is done naturally but may have used reflective equipment to get the light directly on the picture.

Aesthetic: What I like most about this picture is how the word 'BoRiNG' sums up his background also this makes me want to know more about this person because this picture creates a mysterious image of this person.
